Seller & Business Terms

8.1 Business accounts

Businesses may create accounts to manage permitted product listings, company information, sourcing relationships, and other available marketplace tools.

The individual creating an account represents that they are authorized to act for the business.

8.2 Verification

Hightower may require business verification, evidence of authority, confirmation of ownership, or additional information before granting elevated privileges.

8.3 Seller representations

A seller submitting products, photographs, descriptions, trademarks, or other materials represents that:

• Submitted information is materially accurate.
• The seller has necessary authority to submit the content.
• The seller has obtained necessary content licenses or permissions.
• Listings comply with applicable laws.
• Products and business representations are not fraudulent or materially misleading.

8.4 Seller content license

The seller grants Hightower a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, for the duration reasonably necessary to provide the services and for any agreed retention or legal requirements, to host, store, reproduce, display, format, distribute within the platform, and promote submitted materials in connection with the seller's marketplace participation.

This license does not authorize unrelated resale of the seller's intellectual property as a standalone asset.

The seller retains ownership of its materials.

8.5 Seller-managed listings

Verified businesses may manage their authorized profiles and listings through available account controls.

Hightower may retain review and enforcement authority for fraud, security, accuracy, legal compliance, and platform integrity.

Hightower's independent automated catalog-maintenance systems should not override protected seller-submitted or active-claim records outside the prescribed seller and Owner-review procedures.

8.6 Independent sales

Where a customer purchases from a seller's independent website, that seller is responsible for its transaction, subject to applicable law and the relevant commercial agreement.

8.7 Paid services

Hightower may offer subscriptions, advertising products, connection services, listing enhancements, or other paid business features.

Charges, billing periods, renewal terms, cancellation rights, and any material changes must be separately and clearly disclosed before purchase.

Paid features are not created or activated merely by this agreement.

8.8 Business disputes

Disputes concerning transactions directly contracted between businesses remain primarily the responsibility of the contracting parties, except where Hightower has independently undertaken contractual duties or applicable law imposes obligations.
